Another Month, Another Show

Well, it’s time once again for me to play another show at Zachary’s Cajun Cafe. I will be there Friday, October 7th from 7:00 – 10:00 PM. Come on out and hear me perform my new song, “Goin’ Back in Time”, some old favorites, and a few of the dozen or so songs I’ve learned since my last show at Zach’s.

P.S. If you haven’t tried them yet, you should definitely order yourself some Boudin Balls.

Another Show at my Favorite Cajun Cafe

It’s that time again… I’m playing at Zachary’s Cajun Cafe this Saturday night, August the 6th. I have quite a few new songs to share and I hope you and your friends and family can make it.

The show starts at 7:00 PM and goes until 10:00. There’s no cover and I don’t mind if you sing along!

Upcoming Shows

Just wanted to post a reminder that I’ll be playing at Zachary’s Cajun Cafe this Saturday night starting at 7:00PM.

Also, I’m playing tonight from 7:00-10:00 at the Last Concert Cafe!

Zach’s Off, Zach’s On

I had a great time this past Saturday night playing at Zachary’s Cajun Cafe. Thanks to everyone who came out to the show and to Tim and Tamara for allowing me to take to the stage.

I am now on the schedule to play there again on June 18th. I’ll play from 7:00 to 10:00, just like before. I hope to see some familiar faces and some new ones at the show!

Just so you know, there’s never a cover charge at this venue. (Or at any of my shows… so far!)

Another Night at Zach’s

I’m heading back over to Zachary’s Cajun Cafe in Kingwood this Saturday night (April 23rd) for my 2nd gig there. I’ll be playing solo* and acoustic from 7:00-10:00PM. If you’re not heading out of town for Easter, come on out. Bring the relatives!

*I got a new gadget a few weeks ago, so even though it’ll just be me up there, you’ll be hearing harmonies on lots of songs!

A Blast from the Past

My friend Jim Cavalier, who I’ve known since 6th grade, found this video from the Pittsburgh news about 18-20 years ago when we were both doing stand-up comedy.

He’s now getting back into it again. The cool thing is that we both started our stand-up “careers” independently (I was in college at Virginia Tech) and then found out we were both comedians when I moved back to Pittsburgh to go to film school. I still remember the time in 7th grade when I made milk come out of Jim’s nose!

50% More Potbelly

I’ve just been asked to play an extra day every week at Potbelly, so now you can also catch me there on Wednesdays from 11:30 to 1:00 (although in reality I usually play an extra 10 or 15 minutes!).

Last (Minute) Concert Cafe Gig

For anyone who just can’t wait until Saturday night to see me perform, I just got asked to perform tomorrow night (Feb 23rd) at the Last Concert Cafe downtown. The Last Concert Cafe hosts open mics on Monday and Tuesday nights and it’s one of my favorite places to perform. The musicians who frequent the place are great people, top notch performers, and a gracious audience, too. I’m very pleased to get the chance to “headline” there.

I’ll be on stage from 7:00 to 10:00 PM, and you can watch/listen while you’re having dinner. Don’t forget to tip your entertainer!

Solo Acoustic Performance

I just got invited this evening to play at Zachary’s Cajun Cafe on Saturday, February 26th from 7:00-10:00PM. Of course I’ve accepted!

This is my first “hometown” gig. Zachary’s has a great Thursday night open mic that I perform at regularly, and now they’re having me out for a long performance. Come on out, have some drinks and/or dinner, and hear me perform some of my favorite songs. Actually, most of the ones I know. 3 hours? Sheesh!

And please invite your friends!

P.S. Zach’s has the best hamburgers in town, so come hungry.

Repeat Performance

I’ve been asked to play again this Saturday afternoon from 1 to 4pm at High Fashion Home in midtown. The parking lot is at the corner of Elgin & Milam and there will be free (and now confirmed delicious!) food. Also, if the weather forecast is to be believed, it should be a nice warm day just like last Saturday.

Stop by and say hi (preferably in between songs).
